Sign up for the Glassblower Training Program to learn the basics of glass arts in our comfortable studio setting. This course will arm you with the knowledge and experience required to journey safely into flameworked glass art. Our space is a second home to masters and students alike. In a studio which boasts over twenty flameworking torches, multiple kilns, a full hot-shop as well as a cold-working studio there is no limit to what your imagination can conjure. Join our community to practice shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the best glass artists in the region while gaining invaluable experience in
glass-art entrepreneurialism both on and off the torch.
As a member of the Zen Glass Studio community, you will have first dibs on rare opportunities. Learn techniques from visiting masters, take advantage of raw glass sales and space rentals, as well as participating in Zen Glass Studio’s exciting events. A favorite event of locals is our ‘Third Thursday’ held every month when we offer free torch time, a perfect time for students to meet artists and practice.
Many students graduate this program to become Zen Glass Team members. Zen Glass Team members participate in live performances, apprenticeships, workshop instruction, and sales all while honing their craft. Zen Glass Studios is a unique group of artists dedicated to lifting one another through creativity.
